Kelly Osbourne is recalling a traumatic childhood experience, when her brother, Jack Osbourne, shot her in the leg.
"You shot me. And I almost died," she tells her brother on an episode of "The Osbournes Podcast," released Tuesday, as the family discussed near-death experiences.
Sharon Osbourne, 71, wanted her children to clarify what kind of gun Kelly Osbourne was shot with, which her son explained was a pellet gun.
"Mum! It went straight out my leg and through the other side," the 39-year-old television personality said. Jack Osbourne, 38, then backed her up. "You can still kill someone with a pellet gun," he said.
Their father, Ozzy Osbourne, 75, then asked if the shot hurt. "Dad, it felt like someone putting a hot poker through my leg really fast. 'Cause it kind of burnt a bit," said the singer and actress.
But what made the situation worse, the "One Word" singer said, was going to a "tiny hospital in the middle of nowhere England in the '90s" where their X-ray machine was broken. "So, they got this long Q-tip and wrapped it in gauze and dipped it in iodine and poked it through the hole to make sure that there was no bits still (inside my leg)," she said, amid audible wincing from her brother.
The accident happened when their father was shooting the 1995 movie "The Jerky Boys" and the Osbourne children were being watched by their uncle, they noted.
"My fault as the guy operating the firearm, technically the air rifle," Jack Osbourne said. "Your fault for running in front of me while I was shooting."

"I feel like I'm innocent in this," Kelly Osbourne said, asserting she still has "beef" with her brother for ruining her "elastic waist Marks & Spencer's jeans" before Ozzy Osbourne begged his children to talk about more positive things.
